| Boarding @ Sandy Bay Stables Winter Recession Buster Rates! ROUGH BOARD This is for stall rental only, excludes services. Each boarder has full use/rights to the facility and horses receive daily turnout/in ~ All day (generally 6-10 hrs). $350.00/month per stall with 6 month boarding Agreement. A discount applies of $50 off per additional horse (doesn't matter whether owned or coming in with friend). SEMI ROUGH BOARD Full use/rights to the facility, daily turnout/in ~ All day (generally 6-10 hrs) sometimes back out at night in summers. Quality feed and hay 3-4x/day is included, applying your supplied fly spray, hosing down your horse to cool off on very hot summer days, bringing in early if flies get bad, heated outdoor ice free water buckets in winter, and night checks including dispensing extra hay on very cold nights and also occasional mashes, year-round. Horse owner is responsible for own stall maintenance and share of paddock maintenance. $550.00/month per stall with 6 month boarding Agreement OR $650 for month to month board Agreement. FULL BOARD Full use/rights to the facility, daily turnout/in ~ All day turnout (generally 6-10 hours) sometimes back out at night in summers. Quality feed and hay 3-4x/day is included, applying your fly spray, dispensing supplements in feed at no extra charge, hosing down your horse to cool off on very hot summer days, bringing in early if flies get bad, stall fans, heated stall water buckets in winter, heated outdoor ice free water buckets, and night checks including dispensing extra hay on very cold nights, and also occasional mashes year-round. Stall maintenance, paddock maintenance and bedding provided by farm. $750/month per stall with 6 month boarding Agreement OR $900/month for month to month boarding.* * Pasture turnout is optional for ALL board types and the cost is split by boarders who select to lease the field for the 4 warmer weather, grassy months. The cost varies depending upon how many want their horse on grass. It usually averages an additional $55 - $65 per month for 4 months. |
