HORSES and PONIES FOR LEASE
SANDY BAY STABLES on Cape Ann
HORSE & PONY

LEASING

A terrific Opportunity to have your "own" horse!
Sandy Bay Stables' students can have the opportunity to lease a school horse so they can get in some practice
rides on their
own time!

Lease Includes:
This opportunity is like owning your very own horse but not having to come up with the down payment for one or
the commitment of owning one.  Nor do you have to come up with the extra time to feed your horse or do his/her
stall, that's all done by the farm!  The below lease rates include full board = farm provides full horse care from
feeding, turning in and out, cleaning stalls, scheduling vet/farrier appointments for "your horse", and also includes
buckets, halters, blankets, sheets, and brushes for leased horse.  The lease rates also include your 'free' rides but
does not include the price of your lessons.  Full leases receive $50 off lessons each month.

A
Half Lease is like owning half of a horse!
This cost is $325/month for up to 2 - 3 practice rides each week.

Full Lease
A full lease is like owning your very own horse/pony.
This cost is $650/month for unlimited rides!

Leasee gets first dibs on using 'their horse' in lessons. Lesson schedules take priority.  Leasee is responsible for
their share (half or full) of additional horse maintenance (farrier, vet).  The above posted lease rates are only for full
paying students and does not include work to ride situations or other deals offered.

* Leased horses are available for SBS students only.

MORE LEASING DETAILS...

Each lease involves a 4 month commitment, a percentage share of the cost of the horse expenses such as farrier and
vet.  Students who lease, will not need to pay any horse rental fees for clinics or in-house horse shows when they
use "their own" leased horse.  A horse may be leased by 2 persons paying 2 half lease fees each or one person
opting to half or full lease.

Students who lease, get
first priority for use of their horse in lessons.

If a student wishes to take their leased horse off property for beach trail rides or hauling to horse shows, the Leasee
must purchase medical insurance coverage for their horse.  Whereas, all leasees agree to take full responsibility if
horse is injured during their lease agreement.

Leasees are to provide own tack.  But could make temporary arrangements with farm to borrow some tack at no
extra charge and when not in use by riding school.  Leasee is responsible for all dispensable items such as fly sprays,
shampoos, and ointments used on "their own horse."

Leased horses are to be ridden and used by the specified leasee
only and are not available for the leasee's family
and friends' additional use.  If two students want to share a lease, they may both purchase a half lease.
